Why This Resource Exists
Tennessee permits public access to many court records, but identifying the custodian is often the first hard step. Whitney Shelton Collins, the Circuit Court Clerk, supports Circuit, Criminal, General Sessions, and Juvenile matters. Bland Justis, the Clerk & Master, keeps Chancery and Probate files. Municipal clerks handle city matters. Tennessee Public Case History covers appeals rather than a complete Greene County trial docket. We organize these distinct contacts, official tools, and request paths in one place.
Resources Included Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Greene County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
Limits of This Resource
This is a privately run reference site, independent of every Tennessee court, clerk, and government agency. Its role has firm limits:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Outside Search Providers
Independent companies power search boxes found on some pages. Each provider controls its service, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports free access to this resource. Greene County Court Docket does not set those charges or control the records an outside provider returns.
